Permits are required for all water heater replacements. The permit application (PDF) may be emailed or submitted over the counter at City Hall.
If converting to a heat pump water heater, the following documentation will be required, along with the above application.
- Floor plan
- Single line electrical drawings
- Electrical load calculations (PDF). Load calculations not necessary if main service panel is 200A or greater.
- Manufacturer's specification sheet
