Small Business Entrepreneurship Training 

• My Own Business Institute (MOBI) is a free online education platform offered through Santa Clara University. MOBI offers free courses to start a businesses by providing training and resources to entrepreneurs around the world.

Small Business Food Programs

• Santa Clara County Microenterprise Home Kitchen Operations (MEHKO). A MEHKO is a type of retail food facility that can operate from a private home. The County of Santa Clara authorizes residents to prepare, cook, and sell food from their home kitchen.
• Access Small Business Development Center (SBDC) provides free person to person advising and workshops for food and hospitality entrepreneurs.

Doing Business with the City of Morgan Hill and other State and Local Governments

• You can join the City of Morgan Hill's bidder's list to learn about upcoming contract opportunities. When the City needs to issue formal bids for materials and projects, it notifies the bidder's list of the opportunity to compete for the project. • Many transportation related projects that are funded by Federal Funds provide preference to businesses or firms that are designated a "Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE). If you meet the qualifications, you can register your business as a DBE which provides preference opportunities on Federally Funded construction projects.
