Clean Air Week
In celebration of California Clean Air Day on Oct. 4, 2023, the City is hosting activities through the first week of October.
Air pollution impacts all aspects of human life: our health, environment, agriculture, lifestyle, and more. It is crucial to understand the role we play in and how we can create clean air for our community. Clean Air Week is an opportunity for residents to learn about air quality and make a substantial difference.
From Oct. 2 to Oct. 8, the City is hosting interactive Clean Air activities that work towards helping the community and environment by reducing indoor and outdoor air pollutants.
Each day of the week will feature a different activity:

- Monday, Oct. 2: Indoor Air Quality Awareness Day: Houseplant Giveaway
- Tuesday, Oct. 3: Compost & Organic Waste Diversion Day
- Wednesday, Oct. 4: Induction Cooking Demonstration with Chef Scott Spencer
- Thursday, Oct. 5: Eco-Friendly Transport Thursday
- Friday, Oct. 6: Native Tree Planting Day with Morgan Hill Community Garden.
- Saturday, Oct. 7: Clean Air Day at Magical Bridge Playground (10 a.m. - 1 p.m.)

Take the Clean Air Pledge to take action on clearing the air! Residents who pledge their actions for clean air will receive FREE goodies during Clean Air Week.
