The City of Morgan Hill has developed a long term site master plan for City owned recreation facilities on Condit Road. These facilities include the Outdoor Sports Center, Aquatics Center, and adjacent City owned undeveloped property. While these improvements or expansions may not occur for several years, it is important for the City to plan well in advance. This allows for incremental implementation of the Plan while providing guidance for future improvements at the site.
The City consulted with Verde Design, Inc. on the development of the plan. After initial outreach in early 2022, work on the development of the Plan commenced. In the Summer of 2022, the Parks and Recreation Commission recommended modifications to the draft Plan and on October 19, 2022, the City Council approved the draft Plan.
The next step for is environmental review followed by approval of that review and finalization of the Plan.
