Santa Clara County "Immigrant Belong" Project

For the first time in 23 years, SCC is asking immigrant communities in a concerted way:

• what they are experiencing; 
• what kind of services are they aware of; 
• where do they face discrimination; 
• and how would they prioritize needs in their community.

The partnership between the Office of Immigrant Relations and the Othering & Belonging Institute from UC Berkley will shape our understanding of immigrant experiences in SCC for years to come. For more information on the project: https://desj.sccgov.org/immigrant-belonging-project.

As part of the immigrant belong project, a survey for Santa Clara County immigrants is currently taking place online. The survey went out live on September 4, 2023, and will continue to take place until November 13, 2023. The The survey is taking place in 11 languages.
