In honor of Native American Heritage Month: Join the Morgan Hill Library and the Amah Mutsun Tribal Band, Chairman Lopez for a discussion on the campaign to protect Juristac. Juristac (Huris-tak) lies at the heart of the ancestral lands of the Amah Mutsun Tribal Band near Gilroy, California. Land developers are currently seeking to turn these sacred lands into a 403-acre open pit sand and gravel mining operation.
