The specific project addressed within the Addendum includes a land transaction between the City and an adjacent private party. The land transaction is to convey land area currently devoted to Depot Street right-of-way to provide additional land area for a future mixed-use development project of approximately 48 three story attached townhome style units, an approximate 3,000 square foot office space with condos above, and the realignment of Depot Street. The realignment would transect the Community and Cultural Center parking lot to form an intersection with Church Street. The realignment of Depot Street includes the General Plan Amendment and Zoning Amendment to assign the Mix Use Downtown designation to the vacated portion of Depot Street and increase the Mixed Use Downtown (zoning designation currently applied to the Hale Lumber site) by approximately .29 acres.
