Design Your Own Water-Wise Landscape

Cut Landscape Water Use

By using water-efficient gardening techniques, you can create a beautiful garden while cutting landscape water use 20% to 80%. Whether you are planting a new landscape or renovating an established one, the city can help you with a water-wise landscape design.

Computer Station

We have set up a public computer station at City Hall that you can use to access the Eco-Gardens website for landscape design ideas, interactive garden tours, customized plant lists, fact sheets, "how-to" videos and much, much more! You can use this tool to get water-wise design ideas for your landscaping project. Visit outstanding gardens, view landscape photos, and get detailed descriptions for more than 1,000 plants. The Bay Area Eco-Gardens website is your online one-stop sustainable landscaping resource!
